We've got to make a run for some necessary tasks and will be closing dash bistro for two days this week. Tuesday July 31st and Wednesday August 1st will be down days for dash mobile bistro. If you are only in town these days, we are sorry to have missed you. To our locals, we'll see you when we get back on Thursday the 2nd of August at 11:30am, and normal hours and seven days a week service will resume again serving up the finest, freshest, and tastiest food.
Here at dash, we try as much as possible to use the freshest, regional ingredients for the cuisine at the food truck. We believe in sustainability and environmental responsibility. As such, from time to time we will make modifications to our menu to best match the conditions of the time.
At present, elk products are becoming harder to find. For the foreseeable future, we will be phasing out elk at the bistro. The elk ribeye steak has been replaced with a buffalo ribeye. The buffalo ribeye is a healthy 8 oz, three ounces more than the elk steaks and we believe you will enjoy them as much as or more than the elk ribeye steaks. Additionally, the 50-50 elk venison blended game patty will take a much higher percentage of venison for the future. Approximately 80-20. Still 100% game meat, no filler.
Last, the wild king salmon runs are very poor this year. Our next salmon product will be a wild BC sockeye salmon. These fish have had a strong run in this year and we feel good about offering this regional favorite to you now.
We look forward to seeing you at dash mobile bistro soon, where we're always serving tasty food, fresh and delicious!
